Cécile & Joanna craft yoga retreats together to share their wisdom and give all a sacred space to come and breathe together, rest, replenish, connect, learn, grow and hopefully transform.
By exploring the depths of oneself through the different tools of yoga, meditation, story telling, philosophy, psychology, one can understand a little more the beauty yet also, the irony of life. To gain a little perspective on all, understand that everything that we endure is part of the divine play, thus one can free up some more and get closer to inner peace.
Come together to meet like minded people, to connect and be part of something special where all are welcome and kindness, empathy towards each other is not an option, yet a skill we willingly practice.
Joanna & Cécile
Cécile and Joanna are like two sides of a coin, completing each other when it comes to teaching yoga,
for which they have cumulated together more than 35 years of experience… in teaching that is!
Cécile is steeped in the tradition of Meditation, infuses her classes from the teachings of Buddhism, and has practiced up to the third series of Ashtanga Yoga with renowned teachers. Today she skillfully guides all through creative and fluid practices of Vinyasa Yoga and masters the art of Yin &
Restorative Yoga. Cécile has written the two first books in French about Yin Yoga and trains people for this method.
JOANNA is an avid reader and traveler who has spent many months a year in India since the sweet age of 17. She has practiced Iyengar for a decade with Usha Devi in Rishikesh and immersed herself in the Jivamutki
method which is authorized to teach. Her last 14 years have been dedicated to the daily practice of
Ashtanga Yoga under the regular tutelage of Sharath Jois and has received the blessings to teach the
second series. She is passionate about Indian Philosophy and Modern Psychology, sources of knowledge from which she draws material for her philosophy classes.
A Day of Retreat
to center the mind, Joanna then uplifts all with her precisely crafted and cued Vinyasa Krama classes.
Brunch follows the morning sessions and we all come together to break bread and silence. There will
be plenty of time in the afternoon for hiking in the beautiful mountains, taking a nap if needed,
hanging with new friends, or indulging in a sauna at the SPA.
We will resume class around 4 pm for a philosophy, exchange circle, the class will be followed by a
sweet hour of Yin Yoga to fully ground and digest the day.
INVESTMENT
Early Bird Price start at 980CHF For a Twin Shared Room with a Bathroom (if you join before June the 30th)
We have a few options for single room occupancy with bathroom for 1280CHF.
The price includes all classes, lodging with 2 vegetarian meals a day, and an afternoon at the SPA.
Not included: the journey to the Hotel and any extra treatments such as massages.
